Your development begins on your very first day and will continue along with your progress here. From day one, we invest heavily in your learning and development to ensure that we are providing you with the tools you need to succeed.

Summer associate learning and development is a critical part of the summer experience at Norton Rose Fulbright. Our summer associates are paired with mentors who serve as advisors before, during and after the clerkship program.

These mentors will introduce you to lawyers within your office, provide day-to-day guidance and share knowledge about the Norton Rose Fulbright and our strategic vision.

Our summer associates also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of legal and business skills workshops and presentations. Our goal is help you strengthen your professional, business and technical skills, as well as to introduce you to our world-class learning and development program.

We have been recognized as the first global law firm to achieve a single, unified global learning and development strategy and won the Excellence in Learning and Development Award at the Law Society Excellence Awards.

Connections

A key career building element of the summer program is making lasting connections with our lawyers and your fellow summer associates. We offer team building and social activities that are unique to each of the cities in which we work and live. Our lawyers work hard, but they also enjoy spending time with one another and having fun.

We offer our summer associates an extensive, enjoyable introduction to the city where they spend their clerkship. Summer associates and their families will find a wide selection of sports, cultural, artistic and other activities designed to appeal to a wide variety of interests.

We  provide a competitive salary and travel reimbursement and can assist with housing arrangements.
