Senior Coordinator, Diversity & Inclusion

Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP is seeking a Senior Coordinator to support the Director of Diversity & Inclusion, in collaboration with the Diversity & Inclusion Committee and various Diversity Networks, to implement and manage the firm's diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage US Diversity & Inclusion budget
  • Assume primary responsibility for completing diversity survey requests from clients, publications and professional organizations
  • Assist Business Development in tailoring diversity responses on bids and RFPs
  • Assume a leading role in creating and updating diversity and inclusion marketing materials, including the firm’s diversity intranet and internet pages
  • Assume a leading role for the firm’s participation in key external diversity initiatives and events, including Mansfield Rule and Houston Pride Parade
  • Support the firm’s participation in diversity conferences, sponsorships and other external diversity activities
  • Assist in diversity-related recruiting and professional development initiatives, including identifying diversity career sites, hosting diversity events for summer associates, and developing and implementing diversity trainings and mentoring programs
  • Coordinate, promote and support internal diversity events as required, including booking speaker engagements, catering, arranging video and teleconferencing support and room/venue reservations
  • Organize meeting logistics and agenda for all aspects of diversity-related activities and events, including Diversity & Inclusion Committee quarterly meetings and Employee Networks strategic planning meetings
  • Compile data, analyze and report on US and Global firm diversity metrics
  • Prepare presentations and reports for US and Global firm management
  • Identify and prepare applications for diversity and inclusion accolades and recognition opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Human Resources on diversity policies and best practices for tracking diversity data in conjunction with the US Director, Diversity & Inclusion
  • Build and maintain relationships with external organizations and vendors
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed such as managing the department calendar, submitting expenses, taking and collecting event pictures, printing and shipping diversity materials, purchasing diversity promotional items, recommending and implementing diversity network activities and providing general administrative support
  • Special projects, as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum five years of professional experience, ideally with a focus in corporate diversity and inclusion
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and highly sensitive information
  • Proactive self-starter who can self-manage and work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness and excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrate good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent service
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills; both written and oral
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Professionalism, personal integrity and high degree of confidentiality
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt in an ever changing environment, including the ability to prioritize
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Office
  • Strong computer and technical skills
