For the second year in a row, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has named Fulbright’s Houston location as a Community of Respect.®
The ADL Regional Director Martin Cominsky presented the award to the Fulbright Houston partnership on Monday, November 17.
Cominsky recognized Fulbright’s commitment to diversity and rejection of bias and prejudice.
“You are helping to create an inclusive work environment, which essentially filters into our homes, houses of worship and volunteer efforts,” said Cominsky.
Fulbright implemented a diversity policy that has been promoted throughout the year. Fulbright has participated in an internship program called Genesys Works that offers underprivileged high school seniors workforce experience. In addition, Fulbright has implemented “Lunch and Learn” sessions for partners and employees on diversity issues as well as a number of other programs.
Participants in the ADL Community of Respect® program include businesses, nonprofit organizations, law firms, faith institutions and various agencies.
