The Global eDiscovery Services Department provides cutting edge technology and methodologies to the Firm’s disputes lawyers and clients.  The Practice Services Coordinator primarily supports the eDiscovery Services Department across two key service areas - document review and strategic technology.  This role provides dynamic opportunities within the department and offers an opportunity for growth and development. The Coordinator position offers a unique combination of daily tactical analysis and reporting of the document review business and project management of strategic technology initiatives. The appropriate candidate will receive training through the Department’s strong professional development and mentoring program.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create training and professional development curriculum for document review lawyers
  • Provide project management on all technology initiatives for the department
  • Participate in firm technology innovation initiatives
  • Support various administrative and business functions within the department
  • Monitor timekeeper productivity for department
  • Manage document review project logistics and daily calendar of events
  • Monitor active eDiscovery project budget-to-actual statistics related to processing, hosting and document review
  • Support Assistant Director of Technology, in evaluation, selection and implementation of new eDiscovery platform
  • Assist Business Analyst with overall department productivity and financial analysis projects
  • Work closely with Practice Services department leaders to provide ad hoc project support

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum one year of work experience in an office environment required; experience in eDiscovery and document review preferred
  • Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment and handle concurrent projects with high quality results
  • Willingness to provide after hours, overtime, and weekend support as necessary
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently with appropriate supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively with lawyers, vendors, and other key project stakeholders; strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under rigorous deadlines and in high-pressure situations
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and proficient in MS Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Reliable, flexible and a can-do attitude in all situations is essential
