Partner Recruiting Coordinator

Norton Rose Fulbright is seeking a highly-motivated Partner Recruiting Coordinator to provide support to the US Director, Partner Recruitment.  Specifically, the Coordinator will support all aspects related to the recruitment of firm partners. This is based in our New York office.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work proactively with the US Hiring Partner, the US Director of Partner Recruitment, and other legal recruiters across the firm to execute lateral partner hiring strategy
  • Conduct market research and create market maps to identify potential candidates
  • Assist with all aspects of the lateral hire process, which includes coordinating travel, corresponding with Partners, scheduling interviews, securing conference rooms and coordinating ground logistics with various offices
  • Audit statuses of candidates in online applicant tracking system, assist with candidate correspondence, scheduling candidate interviews, and follow up
  • Maintain search firm agreements for partners candidate submissions
  • Coordinate payment of legal recruiting expenses and track department budget
  • Process and track third-party background checks
  • Process new hire paperwork and support the onboarding process of new partners in conjunction with the Legal Recruiting Managers and Human Resources
  • Other administrative duties and special projects, as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a professional services office environment
  • Previous legal recruitment experience is preferred
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness and excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrate good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent service
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills; both written and oral
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential
  • Professionalism, personal integrity and high degree of confidentiality
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt in an ever changing environment, including the ability to prioritize
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Office
  • Strong computer and technical skills
  • Flexibility for overtime is necessary as evening and weekend work may be required during peak recruiting seasons
