The Competitive Intelligence and Knowledge Management Coordinator, under the direction of the Competitive Intelligence Manager, is responsible for the coordination of all aspects of CI and KM including: (1) gathering of information to compose CI/BI reports (i.e., searching internal databases and repositories, contact information/email address population, etc.), (2) gather and upload knowledge documents from Business Services functions such as learning and development, and (3) administrative support of the knowledge management functions of the group, specifically the collection and cataloging of automated forms and documents.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • The position will work closely with Competitive Intelligence and Knowledge Services teams to support the operation
  • Assist the CI team with collection and analyzing of financial and other data to provide metrics, dashboards, portals or other bespoke client reporting
  • Gather and load content in knowledge collection, participate in knowledge meetings as required and support the knowledge strategy
  • Prepare various management reports for CI and KM functions
  • Acquire knowledge and experience to broaden their expertise through on the job learning, professional development events, independent study, targeted training
  • Develop proficiency in the use of technology, tools and equipment for the relevant functions
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualification and experience/skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences or related field
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn accounting and knowledge tools necessary to perform job duties
  • General knowledge of competitive intelligence and knowledge management
  • Demonstrated ability to handle details accurately on a sustained basis
  • Demonstrated ability to apply independent judgment in prioritizing work tasks in a busy environment with frequent interruptions
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and written with all levels of the organization
  • Law firm experience a plus
  • Enthusiastic learner, inquisitive and willing to think outside the box and try new ways of delivering work product
