The Training Specialist will provide training and guidance on how to access and appropriately use Practice Support Group’s (PSG) Tier 1 document review platform, Axcelerate. Additionally, this individual will provide top level support in training of other department supported applications. The nature of the job requires a competent knowledge of Windows operating system, Internet Explorer settings, Chrome and Firefox browsers. Experience with document review applications (e.g. Axcelerate, Ringtail or Relativity) for application support and browser configuration purposes is a plus. The Training Specialist will provide Client / End User support as the first level contact conveying resolutions to customer issues related to all PSG supported applications in addition to track, route and redirect problems to proper resources.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide training, support and guidance to lawyers, clients and Practice Support staff on Axcelerate, Magnum and Annotate
  • Serve as a helpdesk to answer users’ questions and requests for new case setup
  • Set up new cases in Annotate and Magnum
  • Create user guides and tip sheets to provide to end users post training
  • Organize and prepare data for loading and review
  • Generate data reports and conduct searches per request of legal teams
  • Create checklists, processes and workflows
  • Troubleshoot with end users as necessary

Qualifications and skills:

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or related field
  • Minimum of one year of relevant legal background and/or technical experience
  • The ability to handle multiple, simultaneous projects with consistently high quality results
  • Willingness to provide after hours, overtime, and weekend support as scheduled or as necessary
  • The ability to work both as part of a team and independently with appropriate supervision
  • The ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, vendors, database analysts and other technology professionals
  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively under rigorous deadlines in high-pressure situations
  • Highly developed communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem identification and resolution skills
  • Competent knowledge of Windows operating system, Internet Explorer settings and Chrome browser
  • Working knowledge of Windows Office applications with an emphasis on Excel; SharePoint and other legal focused applications
  • Transactional or real estate experience is a plus
