The Paralegal in Norton Rose Fulbright’s San Francisco office requires a diligent self-starter with experience working in a legal or corporate environment. This position supports various attorneys with a particular focus on the Public Finance department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist attorneys with various municipal utility district (MUD) matters, from preparation of orders, and agreements to attending MUD meetings and taking minutes
  • Assist attorneys in drafting documents for municipal transactions, including tax exempt transactions
  • Revise and proof resolutions, orders, and agreements for municipal transactions
  • Coordinate document preparation, review, and execution
  • Keep attorneys apprised of deadlines and issues that arise during the course of a transaction
  • Prepare and organize necessary legal and closing documents for closings and filings
  • Review due diligence materials for health care finance and other municipal transactions
  • Coordinate printing of offering documents with financial printers
  • Additional legal assistant and administrative duties, as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Paralegal certification, preferred
  • Minimum two years of related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong grammar and spelling accuracy essential
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Organized and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to interact well with clients, support staff, and department leadership
  • Flexibility in work schedule a necessity
  • Ability to work additional time or outside regular business hours
