Document Review Coordinator

The Document Review Coordinator will assist in the operations of the firm’s eDiscovery and document review services offered through the Practice Support Group (“Houston Hub”).  The coordinator will directly report to the Document Review Operations Manager. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Document Review Manager to develop SOW and cost estimate for approval by the legal team and provide estimate-to-actual reports throughout the project
  • Assist Manager in capturing and tracking end-of-project metrics
  • Coordinate with overflow staffing vendors to staff and launch review projects
  • Coordinate billing for the document review services offered through the Hub, including coordination with third party vendors regarding accuracy of the project invoices
  • Work closely with practice services department leaders to provide project-based support
  • Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience
  • Understanding of litigation; prior law firm or corporate legal experience preferred
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, responsiveness and excellent organizational skills required
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent service
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Professionalism, personal integrity and high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to adapt in an ever changing environment, including the ability to prioritize
  • Confident interacting with all levels of the organization, both legal and administrative
  • Reliable, flexible and a can-do attitude in all situations is essential
