The position in the Dallas, TX office requires a candidate who can demonstrate a positive attitude and strong judgment.  The ideal candidate will take initiative, have integrity and will be dependable.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Document production, including formatting, editing, and finalizing correspondence, memoranda, briefs, motions, pleadings, etc.
  • Court filings, including e-filing
  • Maintain organization of client files, including electronic files in the firm’s document management system (FileSite)
  • Prepare and process new client/new matter forms, along with conflicts search and preparation of engagement letters
  • Proofread all documents, correspondence, etc. for content, grammar, and accuracy
  • Edit and finalize monthly client invoices, and submit for e-billing, as necessary
  • Monitor status of outstanding client invoices and timely submit appeals for underpaid amounts, as necessary
  • Maintain lawyers calendars
  • Upload/download documents to electronic format
  • Internet research on various websites, as requested
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including air, hotel and car, for lawyers as requested
  • Manage expenses including preparation of online expense reimbursement requests
  • Perform other work related duties as assigned


  • Minimum three years of litigation experience is preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of CompuLaw a plus
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team
  • Self-starter who is committed to the job, with flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Exercises confidentiality and discretion
  • Maintains a calm and professional demeanor at all times
  • Demonstrates good judgment and good interpersonal skills
