Legal Recruiting Intern

The Legal Recruiting Intern will provide general assistance to our summer associate and on-campus interview programs as well as with lateral hiring from May 2018 through October 2018.  The ideal candidate will be available full-time through the summer and part-time once school resumes.

Ability to work overtime and outside of regular business hours is required. Candidate must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Correspondence to the summer associates and incoming fall associates
  • Track and process summer event expenses
  • Reserve conference rooms for summer associate activities
  • Solicit summer associate feedback
  • Assist with interview scheduling and logistics
  • Organize the collection of student and lateral interview feedback
  • Prepare materials for hiring committee meetings
  • Greet candidates for summer associate and lateral interviews
  • Process student and vendor reimbursements
  • Research event venues and catering options
  • Assist with execution of summer associate events and on-campus recruiting programs
  • Additional assistance on special projects as requested


  • Prior professional experience
  • Some college preferred
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Demonstrate good judgment and accountability for delivering excellent service
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills; both written and verbal
  • Highly organized and exhibit a high level attention to detail
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt in an ever changing environment, including the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work with employees at all levels within the firm while maintaining a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to handle a multitude of tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines
  • Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision
