The San Francisco office is seeking a lawyer with 3-6 years of privacy and cybersecurity law firm experience. Preferred experience should include advisory (e.g., preparing privacy policies, reviewing online terms and conditions, researching technology law issues, etc.), transactional (e.g., drafting and negotiating technology agreements and vendor contracts), and/or crisis management (e.g., responding to a data security incident or a government inquiry from the Federal Trade Commission or State Attorneys General).  Experience evaluating impact of privacy laws (HIPAA, GLBA, COPPA, GDPR, etc), regulatory guidance, and enforcement actions, and other related guidelines on product or service features preferred.  Experience in all areas not required, but on-going active interest in privacy and cybersecurity work required.  Strong analytical ability, excellent communication and writing skills required. Must be admitted to and a member in good standing of the California State Bar. CIPP or other relevant industry certification or specialization preferred.
