Fulbright's Dallas office was recognized at the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program's 30th annual pro bono awards celebration as the 2012 Law Firm of the Year for its "extraordinary pro bono service."

Senior associate Mike Regitz and staff members Jennifer Talafuse, Sharon Alexander, Shon Harris and Juanita Sierra accepted the award on Fulbright's behalf.

DVAP also singled out Dallas associate Justin Conner as an 2012 Outstanding Clinic Attorney Volunteer for his service at DVAP's East Dallas Legal Clinic.

Separately and simultaneously, Dallas associate Abby Ruth was recognized as DVAP's Finest, a monthly honor program for pro bono service. Other recipients of DVAP's Finest have included Vynessa Nemunaitis, counsel Barbara Pilo and Regitz.

"Congratulations to all for this award," said Dallas partner-in-charge, Ken Stewart, "It represents many hours of dedicated work to give back to our community."

Fulbright's long history and culture of pro bono involvement encourages young associates to take on cases to gain courtroom experiences at DVAP's monthly Prove-Up Clinics. As a founding firm of DVAP's monthly Veterans Clinic at the VA Hospital and a regular participant in the South Dallas Legal Clinic, Fulbright has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to pro bono work.
